Leaving the dark side...

Here's my first post from my new apple macbook!

This seems ideal, it's unix based and on an intel platform so should be sweet.

Firefox is installed, openoffice in progress and more software to follow i'm sure. I like it so far but feel slightly lost - keyboard shortcuts for normal things like shift & end or home don't work! i'm sure there are apple equivalents though.

Hopefully Sam, Matt and Nick can offer some mac help to a newbie :-)

Wireless networking is not sorted at the bristol residence yet, but an ethernet cable does the job for now!

Wow, just sync'd my Nokia 6280 via bluetooth with the contacts and calendar on the mac, never, ever got stuff like that to work on my PC!
